At EBCO, our commitment goes beyond hardware. We care deeply about improving the lives and financial stability of the carpenters and their families across India. Through our dedicated social programs (CSR initiatives), we act as a true partner, helping them find stability, success, and a better future. Our main goal is to meet the basic needs of these families and make sure our work leads to strong, lasting improvements in their community.
A key focus of our work is making sure the carpentry skill stays strong in the future. We do this with hands-on Skill Development programs. These sessions teach modern furniture making, how to use new tools efficiently, and how to use digital skills to manage clients better. At the same time, we help with financial security. This includes training on managing money, organizing a small business, and knowing how to access credit. We also promote important health and safety tips to protect the carpenters while they work.
We believe the best way to create lasting opportunity is through education, which is why we invest heavily in the carpenters' children. We offer important financial aid, including scholarships. This ensures a family's budget won't stop a child from learning and aiming high. Our final goal is to help build a successful community of highly skilled artisans, creating positive changes that benefit every family we support.
We help carpenters upgrade their skills and gain formal recognition for their existing expertise under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), who will get advance skill as well as certificate.
To safeguard the lives and livelihoods of carpenters, we facilitate to get insurance coverage (Health and Accident) and would provide wage loss insurance in case of hospitalization.
We support the education of carpenters’ children by offering scholarships that encourage learning and reducefinancial burden.
To make sure every program is high quality and fully accountable, we work closely with a trusted network of credible NGOs. These partnerships are key to our success. Also, to give fair access and opportunities across the whole country, we have built an easy-to-use digital platform. This technology helps us reach carpenters everywhere, removing limits set by distance. Through this site, carpenters can easily find and sign up for EBCO's CSR programs. Other people, like community leaders or contractors, can also use the platform to nominate deserving individuals. This makes sure our help reaches the people who need it most.
